LEGAL NOTICE & PRIVACY POLICY
The website (the "Site") operated by MEANDER FERİBOT İŞLETMELERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (the "Company" or "Meander") is made available for user access for the purpose of ferry ticket sales, reservations, travel and related tourism services.
The texts, images, logos, designs, databases, software, brand elements and other content on the Site belong, unless expressly stated otherwise, to the Company or to the relevant rights holders and are protected under the applicable intellectual property legislation.
1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The content, design elements, software code, images, texts, databases, logos, trademarks and other intellectual property elements on the Site are protected under Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, Law No. 6769 on Industrial Property, and applicable international and foreign legislation.
The Site content may not, other than for personal and non-commercial use, be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, modified, transferred to other systems or used for commercial purposes without the prior written permission of the Company or the relevant rights holder.
Users are prohibited from engaging in any use that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties.

The Company exercises reasonable care to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date. Voyage times, routes, availability, prices and similar information may be updated before a reservation or purchase transaction is completed.
In the event that a ticket or reservation transaction is completed, the conditions presented to the user during the transaction and set out in the reservation or ticket confirmation, together with the applicable transport and sales terms, shall prevail.
The Company does not guarantee that the Site will at all times be available in an uninterrupted or error-free manner, due to technical failures, maintenance work, interruptions originating from third-party systems, or events occurring outside its reasonable control. Users' rights arising from mandatory legislation, passenger rights or a completed contract are reserved.
4. USER OBLIGATIONS
The user is obliged to use the Site in a lawful manner. In this scope, the user agrees to:
- provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information in ticket purchases, reservations and, where offered, door visa applications,
- where they provide information on behalf of a passenger other than themselves, be legally authorized to share the said information and inform the relevant person to the extent necessary,
- not infringe the privacy, personality, private life or intellectual property rights of third parties,
- not use viruses, malware, automated attack tools or similar technical methods that may harm the Site, disrupt its operation or lead to unauthorized access,
- where the creation of a user account is enabled, protect the confidentiality of account and access information and inform the Company without delay in the event that they become aware of unauthorized use of their account,
- not engage in interventions that would disrupt the security, integrity or ordinary operation of the Site.
In the event that a use that is unlawful or that threatens the security of the Site is detected, the Company may restrict the access of the relevant user and, where necessary, apply to the authorized authorities.
5. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA
The Company processes personal data, within the scope of the Site and the services offered through the Site, in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

However, the Company cannot be held liable, to the extent permitted by the applicable legislation, for damages arising from internet or communication interruptions occurring outside its reasonable control, third-party infrastructure problems, force majeure, problems originating from the user's device or connection, or unlawful or erroneous use carried out by the user.
This provision does not eliminate or limit the Company's liability for its intent, gross negligence, or liabilities that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable mandatory legislation.
Users' rights arising from consumer, passenger or other mandatory legislation are reserved.
8. ENTRY INTO FORCE AND AMENDMENT
This Legal Notice and Privacy text takes effect on the date it is published on the Site. The user's separate approval in electronic form is not required for this information text to take effect.
The Company may update this text in line with changes occurring in the operation of the Site, in the services offered, or in the applicable legislation.
The current text is published on the Site. The changes made are not applied in a manner that would retroactively eliminate rights arising from applicable mandatory legislation or from existing contracts concluded with the user.
