Book your ferry ticket from Kusadasi to Samos directly from the operator. Meander Feribot has operated this route since 1977 and runs daily services to both the southern port of Pythagorion and the northeastern capital, Vathy. One-way adult tickets start at €37; day-trip return, round-trip, and group options are also available.

The crossing, which spans approximately 20 nautical miles (37 kilometers), takes about an hour. Departure times for Pythagorion: Kusadasi 08:30; for Vathy: Kusadasi 09:15. Returns from Samos are at 18:00 from Pythagorion and 18:15 from Vathy in the summer season, and at 17:00 at the beginning and end of the season. Sailings run daily to Vathy from 1 April to 31 October and to Pythagorion from 1 May to 18 October; in November and December, only weekend services to Vathy are available.

Turkish citizens can visit Samos under the gate visa program or with a valid Schengen visa; EU citizens can travel with a valid national ID card. The route is open only to pedestrians—there is no vehicle deck—making it particularly ideal for day trips to explore Samos's ancient ruins and beaches.
